The Serena and Lily Spring Design Event: 20% off Everything!
Today is the first day of Serena and Lily’s spring design event where everything is 20% off! Use code NEWLEAF to save from March 9th-16th! As you all know, Serena and Lily is one of my very favorites places to shop for my personal home and for client projects. I just love the look and quality of their pieces—I can always find the perfect piece to elevate a space while maintaining a relaxed and inviting feel. If there’s something you’ve had your eye on, now is the time to bring it home! I’m going to share a roundup of all the items we have in our home, along with some of my favorite finds from their new arrivals!
Coffee Tables for Every Budget
After my recent Q + A I got a ton of requests for coffee table roundups, so today I’m sharing a huge roundup of coffee tables to fit any budget, and any living room configuration. I’ve sourced coffee tables from $150-$1000, in round and rectangular shapes. I hope to do more roundups in the future of square, oval, and irregular shapes, but for today I stuck to the basics!
Nightstands For Every Budget
Today I’m sharing a huge roundup of nightstands! This was definitely the most requested furniture item on my recent poll on Instagram, so I created three categories in hopes of fitting any budget. I’ve done an under $250 category with some styles starting at just under $150, an under $500 category, and a “splurge worthy” category for a few more unique or intricate designs that I love.
Dried Florals and Vases for Spring
Since I haven’t been running into stores each week to grab fresh flowers and greenery over the past year, I’ve had to find a realistic alternative that I like just as much as the real thing. As someone who isn’t a fan of faux greenery or florals, I was very particular in my search and landed on dried florals! They are just as affordable, long lasting, and easy to maintain as faux, but they have the realistic look I craved! They also blend in nicely with the live houseplants that I have all around the house and don’t look out of place. Today I’m sharing a few dried florals that would be great to freshen up your home for spring if you want to try them out!
Bedroom Updates with Serena and Lily
Over the last year I’ve been working hard on our bedroom to create a design that works nicely with the shape of the room, but am being very intentional about the pieces I choose as I would like to have them for a long time. I’m making sure each piece is not only beautiful, but good quality as well. The newest addition to the space made my jaw drop when I took it out of the packaging. It’s the Cyprus Bone Inlay Floor mirror from Serena and Lily, and it makes such a big impact in the space! It’s taller than our previous mirror and reflects so much more light. It can also capture the reflection of our entire chandelier, making the whole room feel a bit more elevated.
The antique bone tiles and brass nailhead detail are so beautiful, photos don’t do them justice. I love the soft and subtle dimension it adds to the space while still giving me the calm, warm neutral look that I like to incorporate into all my designs. It’s a timeless piece that I know I’ll cherish for a long time.
Our new baby boy, Eoghan, took a liking to it as well and was having a lot of fun looking at himself in it after we put it up. These images turned out to be some of my favorite of him to date, and I’m so glad I was lucky enough to capture this moment on camera!
Our bedroom is feeling so close to complete with the addition of this beautiful mirror. I love that the tones tie in so nicely with our Blake Dresser, and it helps to evenly distribute the warm natural beige tones throughout the space to give us an even more cohesive and intentional feel in here.
I love using mirrors as wall decor since I’m more of a minimalist when it comes to artwork. It’s a nice way to reflect light in your space, and helps smaller spaces feel a lot bigger and more grand. It’s also a great way to allow other parts of the room to be more visible at all angles.
My general rule for whether or not to add a mirror into a space is to ask yourself if the reflection will be something you love and would like to see more of in the space. If the reflection is of an area you don’t love—skip it or move the mirror to another wall where the reflection is more desirable. I’m going to round up some of my favorite Serena and Lily mirrors below that would work nicely in any space!
I’m so happy to have checked another item off the list for our bedroom. This new piece has been making me smile every time I walk past it since we installed it.

Marshalls Online Store Finds
Exciting news! I just recently discovered that you can shop Marshalls online! I was shopping for some gifts this morning and found some really great decor in stock! It seems like some of the product can overlap with what’s on the TJ Maxx website, but they do have a lot of new things, too. It’s a great to have another option if you’re in the mood to explore what’s out there, but don’t actually want to leave your house!
Recent H&M Finds
Happy Wednesday! I’m sharing a few of my recent H&M finds on the blog today. I always forget to look there for home decor, but am never disappointed when I do!
